The Deck came about as our young family began to enjoy playing card games. Fanning out, sorting and organising a hand of cards is a learned skill. Older siblings got there first, younger siblings just got cross! Everyone got impatient. A piece of wood with grooves restored the peace. We could all set out our cards and get on with the game! No more spilled cards and no more looking. Playing cards became fun again.
